West Kentucky Rescue is no longer
actively taking dogs into rescue. Life changes have made it
necessary to simply maintain responsibility for the dogs that we have
adopted over the years and take an administrative role in the rescue
community.
It is through the help of our
many adoptive families and supporters that we were able to make such a
difference in the lives of so many dogs (and the occasional cat) in
need. For that we are eternally grateful.
When we stopped taking dogs into
rescue, we had a $6,000.00 bill with our wonderful vets. It took
quite some time, but we finally paid the bill off. We are
thankful that our vets were so patient with us.
